How to Find, Record, Photograph, and Preserve the Final Resting Places of Our Ancestors. A guide to what records may provide a burial place, finding a cemetery using maps and apps, photographing and recording what you find, and preserving that information for the future. Also includes types of cemeteries, gravestones materials, and the personal meanings of grave stone symbols.

Event Information

Learn the basics of Art Deco through photographs and live commentary. Art Deco, which includes much more than just architecture, was popular from the 1920s through the 1940s. It included three distinct styles, all of which are found in Tulsa.

Speaker Information

Our speaker is Mary Vogt, a Guardian with the Tulsa Historical Society/Museum since 2019.

The purpose of the Tulsa Historical Society is to Collect, Preserve and Present Tulsa’s fascinating history.
