April 2025

Greetings!  I am ready for Spring! It has been so nice to look around and see the yellow, pinks, white and lavender color s popping out all over the place. And the trees are showing their green leaves behind the flowers. It is a lift to my spirits to see the changes being made. I hope you are enjoying them also.

We are still in need of a treasurer for Tulsa Genealogical Society. Steve has served in this position for over ten years and it is time to let him have a rest. We have computer Financial program which provides for our organization. You will be assisted in learning it (which is easy) and in its use. Please step up and fill this position. We do have a candidate for Secretary (yay!) and I will continue to serve as Acting President for 2024-2025 until someone steps up. Jim Hemphill(jhemphill3@cox.net) has been working hard to visit with possible prospects among the membership. Please respond to Jim’s calls or email him if you are interested or know someone who might be interested. The Treasurer attends Board of Director meetings monthly via Zoom. Our meetings are now on the 2nd Sunday. This organization needs you if we are to continue our mission.
